Pinnacle Fertility is hiring a Per Diem Phlebotomist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This onsite role supports fertility patients and works with a multidisciplinary staff to ensure compassionate care and accurate blood collection.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or certification, and 1–2 years of experience. Flexible morning shifts are required, with competitive hourly pay and benefits discussed at interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a certified phlebotomy program or national certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures for patients of all ages.
• Identify patients, label samples, and document accurately.
• Prepare and transport samples for lab testing per protocol.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per infection control standards.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance during procedures.
• Monitor phlebotomy supply inventory.
• Collaborate with lab and clinical staff to ensure timely results.
• Adhere to lab policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

As a Per Diem Phlebotomist at Pinnacle Fertility, you’ll engage with patients throughout their journey while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care and service.

We are seeking a Per Diem Phlebotomist to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Illinois in Milwaukee, WI. This is a per diem, onsite position that requires the flexibility and availability to work shifts during the hours of Milwaukee, WI - Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 6:30 AM - 11:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Properly identify patients, label samples, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare and transport blood samples for lab testing following protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during procedures.
• Monitor and maintain phlebotomy supply inventory.
• Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Adhere to all lab policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program or nationally recognized phlebotomy certification (e.g., ASCP, NHA, AMT) preferred.
  • 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and clinical staff.
  • Proficiency in maintaining lab safety and infection control standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour (final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
