Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is hiring a Per Diem Phlebotomist for our Buffalo Grove, IL location. This onsite role supports both Pinnacle Fertility locations with shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM, ensuring compassionate patient care throughout the fertility journey.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and 1–2 years in a clinical setting. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program or nationally recognized certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples from patients of all ages.
• Identify patients, label samples, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare and transport blood samples for lab testing following protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with infection control and safety standards.
• Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients during procedures.
• Monitor and maintain phlebotomy supply inventory.
• Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Adhere to all lab policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
