Job summary

ProMedica's Toledo Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support data entry, prescription fulfillment, packaging, shipping and pharmacy operations. You will interact with patients, physicians, insurers, manufacturers and patient assistance programs by phone, helping the pharmacist prepare and dispense medications.

You will also receive, store and inventory drug orders and supplies, maintain the cash drawer and ship orders to patients and prescribers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician registration required; Ohio or Michigan license preferred.
• EPIC Willow Ambulatory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry and prescription fulfillment.
• Packaging, shipping, and inventory maintenance.
• Provide customer service and communicate with patients, physicians, insurers.
• Support pharmacists in dispensing medications.
