Job summary

ProMedica, Toledo Hospital, Pharmacy Logistics, seeks a Pharmacy Technician responsible for data entry, prescription fulfillment, packaging and shipping, and daily maintenance of pharmacy operations. You will interact with patients, physicians, insurers, and manufacturers by phone to support patient care.

Responsibilities include receiving and storing drug orders, inventory control, keeping the cash drawer, and shipping orders to patients and prescribers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician registration or Pharmacy Intern License with Ohio Board of Pharmacy. May be hired with a Registered Pharmacy Technician with restrictions in duties and expectation of Certified License within 6 months of hire if working in Ohio.
• Licensed Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern License with Michigan Board of Pharmacy. May be hired with a Temporary Pharmacy Technician License exp 1 year with expectation of license within 6 months if working in Michigan.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or ExCPT) exam permitted.

Responsibilities
