Job summary

ProMedica is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II at Bay Park Hospital in the Pharmacy department. This per diem role supports pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, and updating patient records. The technician will accept orders, document in the electronic record, and prepare medication labels.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, be 18+, and hold or be in process for the Ohio or Michigan pharmacy technician licensure required for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Registered Technician License OR Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P1 status in schooling if working in Ohio
• Active Pharmacy Technician License OR Michigan Board of Pharmacy Intern license and P1 status in schooling if working in Michigan

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications and maintaining drug inventory and patient records.
• Accept new orders from prescriber, enter information into the electronic record, and prepare and affix labels.
