Qualifications

• One year of Pharmacy Technician experience in healthcare or community pharmacy.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training course pursuant to California State Board of Pharmacy licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process new prescriptions and medication orders.
• Prefill prescriptions/medication orders.
• Use sterile technique to compound IVs, TPNs and chemotherapy agents as needed.
• File prescriptions and medication orders; fill medication cassettes.
• Process billing and assist in inventory management.
