Job summary

River Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to work per diem in our Pharmacy Department. The role supports the pharmacist with medication distribution, inventory maintenance, and ordering while adhering to NYS Board regulations.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma, prior health system pharmacy experience, proficiency with Omnicell, McKesson, and Word, and excellent communication skills. Certification by PTCB or NHA is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with distribution of medications.

• Process medication orders and coordinate with nursing and clinic staff.
• Ensure compliance with NYS Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
