Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a licensed Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

You will manage inventory, supervise order transmission with suppliers, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations while maintaining high service levels. The role requires an active NC pharmacist license (and other state licenses as needed) and MTM experience; degree in pharmacy preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid state license to practice pharmacy.
  • Pharmacy degree (Doctor of Pharmacy) preferred.
  • Current unrestricted pharmacist license in NC and other states as required.
  • Experience MTM in a pharmacy setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients following the Noble Standard of Practice.
  • Support fulfillment of specialty or niche distribution products.
  • Maintain licensure in other states as required and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor claims for proper reimbursement and manage cash receipts.
  • Balance and maintain pharmacy inventory for in-stock customer needs.
  • Oversee order transmission with Noble Warehouse and suppliers.

Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the Noble Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customersJob Duties:Follows the Noble Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patientsSupport fulfillment of specialty or niche distribution productsObtain and maintain licensure in other states as requiredProvide support and guidance to patients as part of Noble’s Clinical Management ProgramsAlways ensure compliance with all Noble policies and proceduresParticipate in after-hours/on-call rotation as requiredPerforms all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelinesFollows all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of PharmacyMonitors all claims for proper reimbursement and collection of funds dueManages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs. Oversees the transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders to and from the Noble Warehouse and additional suppliers as neededOversees the checking of pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing of all returnsEnsures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelinesEnsures compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to Mississippi, New York State, and all other states that prescriptions are dispensed and delivered toEnsures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to ensure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life spanEnsure outstanding customer service is always exhibited by all employeesEnsure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss PreventionOversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environmentMaintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professionsMaintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practiceMaintains confidentiality regarding all patient informationFacilitates communication between professional staff and Noble personnelAssists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelinesAssist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnelInterface with various auditors and outside agencies, as neededResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice PharmacyAbility to stand/walk throughout majority of shiftLimited lifting up to 30lbsEducational Requirements:Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy preferredCurrent unrestricted Pharmacist license in North Carolina and other states as requiredExperience Preferred:Preferred: 1-2 Years of experience in a specialty/managed care setting1-2 Years of practice in a traditional retail setting performing MTM’s
