Qualifications

  • Possess and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
  • Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift
  • Limited lifting up to 30lbs

Responsibilities

  • Follows the Noble Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients
  • Support fulfillment of specialty or niche distribution products
  • Obtain and maintain licensure in other states as required
  • Provide support and guidance to patients as part of Noble’s Clinical Management Programs
  • Always ensure compliance with all Noble policies and procedures
  • Participate in after-hours/on-call rotation as required
  • Performs all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed
  • Monitors all claims for proper reimbursement and collection of funds due
  • Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs
  • Oversees the transmitting, processing, and receiving of orders to and from the Noble Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed
  • Oversees the checking of pharmacy inventory for outdates and processing of all returns
  • Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines
  • Ensures compliance with all rules and regulations pertaining to Mississippi, New York State, and all other states that prescriptions are dispensed and delivered to
  • Ensures in-store pharmacy technology is being used to its fullest potential to ensure a maximum return on investment of the technology and life span
  • Ensure outstanding customer service is always exhibited by all employees
  • Ensure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees and report deviations from said policies to Loss Prevention
  • Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to ensure a clean and professional environment
  • Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professionals
  • Maintains an awareness of developments in the Pharmacy and Health Care Services fields that relate to job responsibilities and integrates them into own practice
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information
  • Facilitates communication between professional staff and Noble personnel
  • Assists in meeting or exceeding budgetary sales guidelines and operating the pharmacy within said guidelines
  • Assist in the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel
  • Interface with various auditors and outside agencies, as needed
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
