Job summary

Lowell Community Health Center is seeking a motivated per diem pharmacist to support patient care at our onsite pharmacy. You will promote understanding of medications, supervise dispensing, and collaborate with the health care team to ensure quality services.

You will provide medication counseling, vaccine administration, and participate in 340B program compliance while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily operations. Per diem schedule supports flexibility and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Pharmacy degree and active state license required.
• Continued professional education credits expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely care through our onsite pharmacy.
• Process incoming prescriptions, refills and transfers.
• Ensure accuracy, safety and efficacy of dispensed prescriptions through review and verification.
• Supervise pharmacy staff engaged in prescription preparation and labeling; verify entries.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment and assist with billing issues.
