Job summary

Mims Management Group in Shreveport, LA is seeking a PRN Pharmacist to cover approximately two weeks (Mar 24–Apr 4) while the Pharmacist in Charge is on medical leave. The position is per diem, with no weekends or evenings, and operates 8 am–5 pm.

You will supervise workflow in PIC absence, dispense medications, maintain records, ensure patient safety, and support education of use. Candidates must have a PharmD or equivalent and current Louisiana licensure, plus solid computer skills.

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree and licensure in Louisiana.
• Experience with pharmacy computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, labels, and dispenses medications for all ages.
• Performs computer order-entry functions accurately and timely.
• Supervises and verifies drug distribution by staff.
