Job summary

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist for our Stowe, Colchester, or Burlington locations. Prior retail pharmacy experience is required; fast-paced environment. In this integrated, in-house model, you will work with providers and clinic staff to deliver team-based patient care.

The role requires Vermont licensure and Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy, with one year of pharmacy practice preferred. Flexible per-diem scheduling and strong growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D. from an approved school and Vermont licensure.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Vermont.
• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager.
• Contact physicians regarding prescription questions/irregularities.
• Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures (if applicable).
• Monitor therapy for interactions/contraindications/appropriateness.
• Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in daily duties.
