Job summary

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is seeking a kind, patient and caring Per Diem (PRN) Staff Pharmacist for our Stowe, Colchester, or Burlington locations. This role supports an in-house pharmacy within a community healthcare center, collaborating closely with providers and clinic staff to deliver team-based patient care.

The ideal candidate will have prior retail pharmacy experience and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D., and registration by the state board of licensure.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Vermont
• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacy Manager.
• Contact and confer with physicians regarding prescriptions.
• Dispense prescriptions, prepare I.V. admixtures if applicable.
• Monitor drug therapy for interactions and allergies.
• Maintain inventory and records of controlled substances.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Participate in inventory control and pricing accuracy.
• Attend programs and meetings as required.
