Job summary

VytlOne is hiring a Per Diem Pharmacist for our PMS Pharmacy location in Carlsbad, NM. The role requires an active NM pharmacist license and a retail pharmacy background. This PRN position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities to support patient care in a community setting.

Responsibilities include interpreting and filling drug orders, counseling patients, and collaborating with physicians. Prior experience in a retail environment and the ability to work flexibly are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Pharm. D. from an approved school of pharmacy.
• Active NM Pharmacist License.
• One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and fill drug orders.
• Provide patient information and counseling.
• May act as alternate store leader in absence of Pharmacist-In-Charge/Manager.
• Dispense prescriptions and prepare I.V. admixtures (if applicable).
• Monitor therapy for contraindications and interactions.
• Maintain patient medication records and inventory.
• Supervise pharmacists and technicians as needed.
