Job summary

Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to oversee the pharmacy operations in compliance with legal, accreditation, and facility standards. This role provides pharmaceutical care and supports inpatient and outpatient services at our Kirkland location.

The position requires a Washington pharmacy license and at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience, with knowledge of Joint Commission standards and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Pharmacy Program is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years hospital pharmaceutical experience is preferred and must include knowledge of dosage for age‑specific populations.
• Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in Washington state.
• A working knowledge of Joint Commission Standards, OSHA regulations, and state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the complete and efficient operation of the pharmacy within all legal and accreditation/certification requirements and applicable facility policies, procedures, codes and standards.
• Provide pharmaceutical care and professional functions related to pharmaceutical services at Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital.
