Job summary

MSK Monmouth is seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist to perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging in a fast-paced oncology setting. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensure image quality, and position patients for accurate studies.

The role requires ARRT(N) or NMTCB, CT certification, and NJ licensure, with dual PET/CT licenses preferred. The position offers Saturdays with flexed hours 8am–6pm, additional weekday shifts, and a weekend shift differential.

Qualifications

• Requires NMTCB or ARRT(N) JCERT-approved program.
• AR RT(N) or CNMT Certification required.
• CT Certification required.
• NJ license required.
• Dual RT license (PET/CT) preferred.
• ARRT(R) credential preferred.
• Graduate of an approved radiography program (ARRT(R)) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic CT and limited X-ray exams as needed.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
• Ensure high-quality images and proper patient positioning.
• Monitor patients and communicate with physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation, dose records, and QC logs.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control standards.

Role Overview:

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.

Key Qualifications:

• Requires diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Radiological program ARRT(N) approved by JCERT.
• ARRT(N) or CNMT Certification
• CT Certification required.
• NJS License required.
• Dual License (RT) in PET and CT Preferred.
• Graduate of approved radiography program (ARRT (R)) Preferred.
• GE PET/CT Experience a plus.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Saturdays flexed hours between 8am – 6pm and additional shifts during week, including holidays, as needed (Per Diem),
• Location: MSK Monmouth, 480 Red Hill Rd, Middletown Township, NJ.
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Pay Rate:

$81/hr

$75/hr without X-Ray

Plus 10% shift differential for Weekends.
