Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a Per Diem PET/CT Technologist to join the team at our MSK Main Campus in Manhattan, NY. The role involves performing PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging according to MSK protocols, and supporting diagnostic imaging services as part of a dedicated radiology team.

The position requires NMTCB/ARRT(N) certified technologists with CT certification and NJ state licensure.

Qualifications

• Diploma from NMTCB or ARRT(N) approved by JCERT
• ARRT(N) CNMT Certification
• CT Certification
• NJS License
• Dual License RT in PET and CT preferred
• Graduate of approved radiography program (ARRT(R)) preferred
• GE PET/CT experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic CT and limited X-ray exams as needed.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
• Ensure high-quality images and proper patient positioning.
• Monitor patients and communicate effectively with physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation, dose records, and QC logs.
• Follow all radiation safety and infection control standards.

Per Diem PET/CT Technologist

Role Overview:

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging following MSK protocols.
• Conduct diagnostic CT and limited X‑ray exams as needed.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
• Ensure high‑quality images and proper patient positioning.
• Monitor patients and communicate effectively with physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation, dose records, and QC logs.

Key Qualifications:

• Requires diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or Radiological program ARRT(N) approved by JCERT.
• ARRT(N) or CNMT Certification
• CT Certification required.
• NJS License required.
• Dual License (RT) in PET and CT Preferred.
• Graduate of approved radiography program (ARRT (R)) Preferred.
• GE PET/CT Experience a plus.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Saturdays flexed hours between 8am – 6pm and additional shifts during week, including holidays, as needed (Per Diem),
• Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Regional Radiology

Pay Rate

$81/hr / $75/hr without X-Ray

Plus 10% shift differential for Weekends.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $170.00FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
