Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network's Children's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a per diem Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in the Pediatric Emergency Department.

The role supports a 6-bed unit expanding to 10 beds, with 11 AM–9 PM shifts and EM residents on PEM shifts; malpractice coverage provided and pediatric nurses available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained PEM physician.
• Current shifts are 11 AM to 9 PM (10 hours) and we are working towards the goal of 24/7 coverage.
• Malpractice coverage provided.
• Pediatric-trained nurses are available 24/7
• 6-bed unit expanding to 10 beds in Fall 2026
• EM resident support for all PEM shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care in the St. Luke's Children's Hospital PED.
• Collaborate with PEM team to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
• Participate in expanding bed capacity and 24/7 service coverage.
