Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA seeks a per diem Board Certified/Board-Eligible fellowship-trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join St. Luke's Children's Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department.

The shift currently runs 11 AM to 9 PM (10 hours) with a goal of 24/7 coverage. Malpractice coverage is provided and PEM-trained nurses are available 24/7. The department is expanding from 6 to 10 beds this Fall 2026, with EM residents and a robust pediatric specialty

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained PEM physician.
• Per diem PEM shifts with current 11 AM–9 PM coverage; goal toward 24/7 coverage.
• Malpractice coverage provided.
• Pediatric trained nurses available 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care in the ED at St. Luke's Children's Hospital.
• Collaborate with PEM team to ensure timely, quality patient care.
• Support pediatric residents and coordinate with ED staff during shifts.
