Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency.
• Current Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• DEA license current or ability to obtain in Florida.
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years.
• Meets requirements for medical staff membership and privileges.
• BLS certification required; PALS as needed for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem outpatient coverage between St. Lucie North and St. Lucie West.
• Utilize the eClinicalWorks EMR system for patient records.
• Participate in training: three consecutive days followed by in-office sessions.
• Deliver pediatric care with flexibility in morning/afternoon/full-day shifts.

Position Overview:

• Provide per diem coverage between St. Lucie North and St. Lucie West, with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts in the Palm Beach area
• Flexible scheduling available, including:
  • Morning shifts: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon shifts: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
  • Full-day shifts: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM/7:00 PM
• Utilize eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system
• Comprehensive training provided, including three consecutive days (Monday–Wednesday) followed by additional in-office training

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
