Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Pediatric Speech Therapist Per Diem to evaluate neonate through adolescent patients with speech, language, and feeding disorders. You will develop and perform developmentally appropriate therapy programs, document progress, and collaborate with medical staff.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, New Jersey state license, CCC, and BLS certification. Pediatric rehab experience preferred; NDT is a plus.

Qualifications

• M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
• Current New Jersey State license and registration to practice.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• BLS Certification required, per AHA guidelines.
• CDD/NDT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation preferred; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and assesses neonates, pediatrics and adolescents with speech, language and voice disorders.
• Develops and implements therapy programs aligned with age development.
• Communicates with medical staff and other health professionals.
• Participates in clinical education and department program development.
• Documents assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Ensures procedures meet ASHA Code of Ethics and department standards.
