Qualifikationen

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (CAA).
• Current New Jersey State license and SLP registration or eligibility.
• Experience preferred in Pediatric Rehabilitation.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with patients and staff.
• BLS Certification per American Heart Association.
• CCC in Speech-Language Pathology.

Aufgaben

• Evaluates and assesses neonate, pediatric and adolescent patients with speech, language and voice disorders and oral motor/feeding disorders.
• Develops and implements age-appropriate therapeutic treatment plans and documents findings.
• Communicates with Medical Staff and other healthcare professionals; participates in education and program development.
• Adheres to ASHA Code of Ethics in practice.
• Maintains patient data, assessments, progress notes; documents treatment outcomes.
• Ensures treatments are performed per established standards and uses appropriate equipment.
