Qualifications

• Graduate of a COAARC-approved Respiratory Care Program.
• DE State License, NBRC-RRT and BLS-HCP required; AARC membership, PALS within 90 days.
• Preferred: NRP, NBRC-NPS, NBRC-CPFT, NBRC-RPFT, NBRC-SDS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and provide age-appropriate respiratory care.
• Assess patients and determine appropriateness of therapy.
• Deliver aerosolized therapy, airway clearance, and ventilator management.
• Perform emergency respiratory care, ABG sampling, and monitoring.
• Document care and orders in EMR; participate in discharge planning.
• Educate patients, families, and care providers; collaborate with staff.
