UPMC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking per diem Pediatric Hospitalists to provide high-quality, compassionate care within a collaborative, team-based environment.

The role includes 24-hour in-house on-call coverage, support for a 15-bed general pediatrics unit and newborn nursery, a 42-bed level III NICU, and subspecialty services including pediatric surgery, GI, neurology, endocrinology, and soon pulmonology.

Position Details:

• Hospital employed position
• 24-hour in house call coverage Supports 15-bed general pediatric unit and newborn nursery (final renovation will have 19-general pediatric beds and 11-PICU beds) 42-bed level lll NICU staffed 24/7 by neonatologists
• Newly renovated Children's floor with an 11-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric neurology, pediatric endocrinology and soon to be pediatric pulmonology

Job Requirements:

• Licensure by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
