UPMC Central Pa in Harrisburg, PA is seeking Pediatric Hospitalists to expand clinical services in central Pennsylvania and to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Licensure by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour in-house call coverage.
• Support 15-bed general pediatric unit and newborn nursery; NICU coverage with neonatologists.
• Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists (surgery, gastroenterology, neurology, endocrinology, pulmonology).

Position Details:

• Hospital employed position
• 24-hour in house call coverage Supports 15-bed general pediatric unit and newborn nursery (final renovation will have 19-general pediatric beds and 11-PICU beds) 42-bed level lll NICU staffed 24/7 by neonatologists
• Newly renovated Children's floor with an 11-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
• Pediatric subspecialty support including pediatric surgery, pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric neurology, pediatric endocrinology and soon to be pediatric pulmonology

Job Requirements:
