Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a per diem Board Certified/Board-Eligible fellowship trained Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician to join St. Luke’s Children’s Hospital Pediatric Emergency Department.

The role offers 10-hour shifts from 11 AM to 9 PM with 24/7 coverage goals, fellowship-trained PEM expertise, and supportive pediatric nurses and residents.

Malpractice coverage is provided and the team includes PEM fellows and residents for in-house education.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified/board-eligible fellowship-trained PEM physician
• Current shifts are 11 AM to 9 PM (10 hours)
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Pediatric trained nurses available 24/7
• 6-bed unit expanding to 11 beds in Fall 2026
• EM resident support for all PEM shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric emergency care in a per diem schedule
• Collaborate with PEM fellows and residents in a high-volume ED
