First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU registered nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts, and choose the hours that fit your life.

You will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings, with competitive per diem pay, daily or weekly pay options, and easy mobile scheduling. Active Virginia RN license, BLS/ACLS, and recent PCU experience are required.

Qualificações

• Virginia RN License required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality patient care within acute-care hospital environments.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and infection-control standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.

PCU RN Requirements

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment
