Job summary

Mission Doctor’s Group, affiliated with Mission Regional Medical Center, is seeking a Medical Assistant for per diem day shifts. You will support physicians with patient care, clerical tasks, scheduling, and chart management.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent; MA certification preferred, current BLS, and at least one year of public-facing healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate required or to be maintained.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and clinic tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
• Provide information to patients to help them utilize clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
