Job summary

The role requires 18+, 2+ years of customer service, and 1+ year of EHR experience. Onsite schedule includes Sundays and Mondays from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for additional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of customer service in hospital/office/phone role.
• 1+ year of electronic health record experience.
• 100% onsite at 1955 W Frye Rd, Chandler, AZ.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits using electronic systems or by contacting payers.
• Obtains referral, authorization and pre-certification information and logs it.
• Identifies outstanding balances from prior visits and collects amounts due.
• Trains staff on computer systems and payer updates.
• Acts as a superuser for primary systems and training.
• Leads process improvement opportunities within the department.
• Works on Special Projects as needed.
• Performs duties of a Patient Access Representative.
• Keeps knowledge of admission and preregistration requirements up to date.
