Job summary

Main Line Health invites experienced paramedics to join Riddle EMS as Per Diem Paramedics. You will assess and respond to emergencies in the field, delivering basic and advanced life support with calm, rapid decision-making and team collaboration.

We support ongoing education with MLH Education & Development, offer a supportive team culture, and provide per diem schedules with parking and generous employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent.
• High school graduate.
• Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced life support in the field.
• Respond to emergency calls with Riddle EMS as a Per Diem Paramedic.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver patient-centered care.

Experience

Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent experience.

Education

1. High school graduate.
2. Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent.
3. Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program.

Licensures/Certifications

1. Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
2. Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse.
3. Current driver’s license valid in Pennsylvania with copy on file.
4. Current BCLS and ACLS certifications with copies on file.
5. Hazmat Awareness, and EVOC/EMSVO all are required.
6. Other certifications are encouraged, such as: NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, Firefighting 1 or equivalent.
