Job summary

Concentra in Dayton, OH seeks per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join outpatient occupational medicine and urgent care centers, delivering high-quality patient care.

You will perform exams, order and interpret tests, administer procedures, and develop treatment plans, while providing compassionate service and adhering to Concentra's standards.

Candidates must hold an unrestricted Ohio license, DEA license, and board certification; prior occupational health experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required (MSN or PA studies) with board certification (PA-C or NCCPA)
• Current unrestricted Ohio medical license
• Unrestricted Ohio DEA license
• DOT/FMCSA certification active or willing to obtain during credentialing
• Eligible to participate in Medicare
• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and collect medical data.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
• Interpret test results and manage patient care.
• Perform procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care).
• Counsel patients on treatment adherence and health maintenance.
• Develop and implement patient management plans with documentation.
• Provide excellent patient service aligned with Concentra values.
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance checks.
• Ensure HIPAA and confidentiality compliance.
