Job summary

Concentra, Inc in Memphis seeks a Physician Assistant to support occupational health services under medical protocols and center leadership. You will provide primary medical direction and coordinate care across clinics as needed, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a busy occupational health setting.

The role requires an MS in Physician Assistant Studies, PANCE, active PA licensure, and at least one year in occupational medicine or urgent care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• PANCE certification required
• Current licensed physician assistant in the practicing state
• Maintain PA licensure throughout employment
• Minimum of one year of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings

Responsibilities

• Examines patient and compiles medical data and exam results
• Orders or conducts diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs)
• Interprets test results for deviations from normal
• Performs procedures (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care)
• Develops patient management plans and documents progress
• Assists in policy development and education programs
• Delivers excellent patient service and adheres to Concentra values
• Maintains accurate documentation and quality assurance
