Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital in Florida seeks an Outpatient Therapist (Per Diem/PRN) to provide age- and population-specific psychotherapy and social services at the Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach. You will deliver individual, family, and group therapy and support discharge planning with the treatment team.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field and licensure (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT preferred).

• Ability to work at the Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist care planning.

Outpatient Therapist - Per Diem/PRN Opportunity

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Outpatient Therapist provides for the delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services. Assists family members and referral sources with continuum of care from the admission process through discharge planning.
