Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Therapist for the Pensacola area, offering PRN/PD shifts from 12:30pm to 4pm at our Pensacola Outpatient Center. The role includes delivering age-appropriate psychotherapy and documenting care, with involvement in discharge planning and coordination with families and referral sources.

Applicants should hold a Master’s in Social Work or related field; licensure (LMHC/LCSW/LMFT) preferred and ongoing licensure pursuit is encouraged.

Qualifications

Provides for delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services.
Conduct psychosocial assessments appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist team in development of a care plan.
Actively participate in treatment team decisions.
Provide quality documentation.

Responsibilities

Outpatient Therapist - PD/PRN Opportunity

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Outpatient Therapist provides for the delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services. Assists family members and referral sources with continuum of care from the admission process through discharge planning.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Human Service field
LMHC, LCSW or LMFT preferred. Should be actively working towards licesenure.
Ability to work at our Pensacola Outpatient Center located in Pensacola, Florida
Ability to work on a PRN/PD schedule with shifts running 12;30pm to 4pm. Total weekly hours will vary.
