Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL, seeks an Outpatient Therapist for a full-time role at our Okaloosa outpatient center.

You will provide age-appropriate psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and assist with discharge planning, documentation, and coordination with families and referral sources.

LMHC/LCSW/LMFT licensure preferred; Master’s degree required; Monday–Friday schedule; opportunity to grow within UHS network.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related Human Service field.
• Preferred LMHC/LCSW/LMFT licensure; actively pursuing licensure.
• Experience providing individual, family, and group therapy.
• Ability to work at Okaloosa Outpatient Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm.

• Provide age-appropriate psychotherapy and social services to patients and families.
• Deliver clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments to aid care planning and team decisions.

Outpatient Therapist - FT Opportunity

Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital

provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults at our 86-bed facility in Panama City, FL and outpatient services to adolescents and adults at our outpatient centers located throughout the Florida Panhandle. Additionally, we offer specialized treatment for active duty military members through our Military Resiliency Program, specialized chemical dependency treatment and TMS therapy for chronic depression.

The Outpatient Therapist provides for the delivery and documentation of age/population specific psychotherapy and social services. Assists family members and referral sources with continuum of care from the admission process through discharge planning.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments Complete psychosocial assessment appropriate to patient type and reason for referral to assist team in development of a care plan.
• Actively participate in treatment team decisions.
• Provide quality documentation.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Human Service field
• LMHC, LCSW or LMFT preferred. Should be actively working towards licesenure.
