Job summary

North Rehabilitation Center is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team in Florida. The OTA collaborates with therapists to screen residents and contribute data, delivering therapy per care plans and supporting the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an AS degree in OTA, a Florida license, and demonstrates excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills. This role offers flexible scheduling and stability within a single location.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Florida Occupational Therapy Assisting license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills, and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled for referral to Occupational Therapist.
• Contributes objective data to Occupational Therapists as allowed by scope of practice.
• Provide Occupational Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care.
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.
