Job summary

UNC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Lenoir, in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir, are seeking Per Diem Orthopedic Surgeon Physicians to join their existing group, located in Kinston, NC. This is a General Orthopedic Surgeon practice, open to an experienced physician or exemplary new grad.

Total Joint Fellowship training or heavy experience in total joint replacement preferred. The position offers a per diem hourly pay rate, paid malpractice, travel and lodging allowances, and 24-hour call

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery is required.
• Active medical licensure in North Carolina is required (or eligible).
• DEA; ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide per diem orthopedic surgical services.
• Manage total joint procedures with fellowship-trained focus or extensive joint replacement experience.
