Job summary

UNC Orthopedics & Sports Medicine at Lenoir, in partnership with UNC Health Lenoir, seeks a Per Diem Orthopedic Surgeon to join the Kinston, NC team. General Orthopedics with Total Joint fellowship or extensive joint replacement experience is preferred, and the role is largely on-site with occasional travel as needed.

Epic EHR is used; Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery is available. The position includes per diem hourly pay, paid malpractice, and travel/lodging support per policy; 24-hour call

Qualifications

• Board Certified Orthopedic Surgery.
• Active North Carolina medical license or eligible to obtain one.
• DEA; ACLS certifications preferred.
• Total Joint Fellowship training or heavy experience in total joint replacement.
