Hospital for Special Surgery seeks a Per Diem Part-time Nurse in the physician office setting. You will assist physicians, room patients, and manage flow while ensuring safety and quality care. Proficiency in vitals, venipuncture, and basic procedures is required.

Flexible hours, with shifts around 8:00am-4:30pm and 3X monthly coverage. CT nursing license and BLS are essential; prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with CT license.
• BLS certification required; excellent communication in a fast-paced setting.
• Minimum one year acute or sub-acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician in treatments and procedures in the office.
• Room patients, oversee patient flow and stock exam rooms.
• Order nursing supplies and maintain medical protocols in the office.
• Take vitals, venipuncture, and assist with minor procedures.
• Deliver high-quality patient service with safety and compassion.
