We are currently seeking a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. An X-ray license is required. Apply today!

Position Details:
  • Location: Haddon Township, NJ
  • Type: Per Diem, twice a month
Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the orthodontist with patient assessment and treatment planning.
  2. Prepare and assist with orthodontic procedures, including fitting braces, wire adjustments, and elastic placement.
  3. Sterilize, set up, and maintain orthodontic equipment and instruments.
  4. Maintain medical records and documentation, including creating patient file entries.
  5. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
  6. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care.
  7. Manage patient flow and schedule appointments.
  8. Under the supervision of the Orthodontist, deliver and assist with direct patient care and take diagnostic records.
  9. Document cases and perform other assigned duties.
Skills and Qualifications:

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, customer focus, ethics, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and be team players.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program or relevant clinical experience.
  • Dental assistant license or relevant clinical experience.
  • X-ray license is required.
  • Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and techniques.
