We are seeking a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. X-Ray License is required. Apply today!

Position Details

Location: Haddon Township, NJ

Type: Per Diem, twice a month

Responsibilities

1. Assist orthodontist in patient assessment and treatment planning
2. Prepare and assist with orthodontic procedures, such as fitting braces, adjusting wires, and placing elastics
3. Sterilize, set up, and maintain orthodontic equipment and instruments
4. Manage medical records and documentation, including creating patient file entries
5. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
6. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and care
7. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
8. Perform basic laboratory duties and schedule patient appointments
9. Manage patient flow efficiently
10. Under supervision, assist with direct patient care and take diagnostic records
11. Document and prepare cases, and perform other assigned duties

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited orthodontic assistant program or relevant clinical experience. Dental assistant license or relevant clinical experience. X-ray license is required. Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, terminology, and techniques is essential.
