Ashe Memorial Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Technician to assist surgeons during procedures and maintain a sterile, organized surgical suite. You will prepare rooms, manage instrumentation and ensure adherence to safety standards under supervision.

Responsibilities include instrument handling, preparing supplies, and collaborating with the OR team to support efficient surgeries and patient care. Requires knowledge of asepsis and recent certification where applicable.

Formación

• High School graduate preferred.
• Completion of an approved Surgical Technology Program preferred.
• Current knowledge of principles of asepsis and techniques in surgery.

Responsabilidades

• Interacts professionally with patient and family.
• Assists in positioning, prepping and draping patients for procedures.
• Cleans, maintains and sterilizes instruments and supplies.
• Ensures room readiness and proper setup for each case.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and hospital policies to prevent infection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
