Job summary

Tenet Healthcare through San Ramon Regional Medical Center seeks an experienced OR Registered Nurse for Per Diem daytime shifts in the Ambulatory Surgery department. You will provide direct patient care across age groups and work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal perioperative outcomes.

The role requires current CA RN licensure and BLS certification, with preference for 2+ years perioperative experience and certification in a specialty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Six months OR RN experience required; two years perioperative nursing preferred.
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS certification for Health Care Providers (AHA certified).
• Certification in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric patients in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborates with surgeons and the anesthesiologist regarding patient condition.
• Maintains and inventories surgical equipment; ensures supplies for cases.
• Obtains case-specific supplies and ensures OR equipment is available and functioning.
