Job summary

Mass General Brigham seeks a Per diem Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in the Operating Room as Circulating Nurse, and to collaborate across disciplines. This role is onsite at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, MA, and reports to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Required are an RN license in Massachusetts, BLS, ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 3 months, and 1–3 years OR experience. Per diem status offers flexible scheduling within the Mass General Brigham system.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC certification within 3 months of hire.
• 1–3 years OR Operating Room experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
• Perform Circulating Nurse duties in the OR and advocate for the anesthetized patient.
