Job summary

Northwest Eye Surgeons is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to support our ophthalmic surgical team with patient sedation and perioperative care. This part-time position offers no evenings or weekends and includes ACLS/BLS training, licensure, and uniforms provided.

You will perform pre/postoperative calls, admissions/discharges, record medical histories, administer medications, and contribute to infection control and team coordination in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current credentials and ACLS/BLS as applicable.
• Conscious sedation experience or training preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique in the OR and ophthalmic setting.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative patient calls and admissions.
• Administer medications and provide perioperative care.
• Intraoperative circulation and conscious sedation administration.
• Supervise effect and training of medical assistants and technicians.
• Maintain asepsis, instrument setup, and OR safety.
