Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join the Oncology and Leukemia team in Neptune City, New Jersey. You will work closely with oncologists and hematologists to address the day-to-day clinical needs of cancer patients, providing evidence-based care and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner program.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

Advanced Clinical Care: conduct comprehensive assessments, order/interpret tests, manage complex conditions, and prescribe in accordance with NJ laws.
Patient-Centered Advocacy: provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care and education to patients and families.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration: participate in daily rounds with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
Leadership & Mentorship: serve as a resource for APNs and nursing staff and participate in peer reviews.
