Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health's Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our Oncology and Leukemia team. You will work with top oncologists and hematologists to manage day-to-day clinical needs of cancer patients, providing patient-centered care and applying evidence-based practice.

Qualifications
- Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program with a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Experience in oncology, leukemia, or bone marrow transplant strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Advanced clinical care: history and physicals, orders, diagnostic interpretation, and med reconciliation.
- Provide patient-centered advocacy and education.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration through rounds with physicians and the broader hospital team.
- Lead and mentor APNs and nursing staff; precept APN students and participate in peer reviews.
- Support innovation and research; promote evidence-based oncology practice.
- Ensure adherence to NJ regulations and collaborative agreements.
