Job summary

Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, FL seeks a Per Diem Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will assess patients and develop treatment plans to enhance daily living skills.

The role offers flexible scheduling, collaboration with therapists and nursing staff, and a patient-centered approach. Master’s or Doctoral degree and a valid state OT license required; strong communication and adaptability valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine OT needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with the rehab team.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve functional abilities.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home programs.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nursing staff and other clinicians.
