Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is excited to offer a per diem Occupational Therapy (OT) position at Beth Abraham Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Bronx, New York. Join our team of therapists in a state-of-the-art rehab gym, helping residents regain independence through skilled rehabilitation.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited OT program and a current New York State OT license. We offer mentorship, weekly pay, flexible schedules, and opportunities for new grads to grow.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
• Help residents through tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
• Foster cooperation among the healthcare team.
