Sigma Health Rehab is recruiting for a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) at our client facility, Northern Mertropolitan Canter for Rehabilitation and Nursing, located in Monsey, New York.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Current New York State OT License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents’ pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidence and protect facility by keeping information confidential.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contributes to team effort.
